"Egypt is experiencing its longest and strongest period of economic growth in more than a quarter of a century. Economic reforms undertaken since July 2004 have opened up previously-closed sectors of Egyptian industry and commerce to investors. Foreign investment has soared, inflation has fallen dramatically and the challenge to create new, sustainable jobs is being met by innovative companies. They are mastering new technologies and new business practices to engage in the global marketplace. The new faces of Egypt are young, well-educated, ambitious and willing to adapt and learn. They are as likely to be women as men; they are graduates of public universities and private colleges. They embrace change, while embodying the cultural ethos of Egyptians' peaceful nature. They are taking jobs in industries that offer a long-lasting future: technology, tourism, financial services and other service companies that are sprouting up around the country...."
