Our vision
A basic bank account, a basic human right"A basic bank account is a basic human right and stimulates sustainable socio-economic development."
(Peter van Roosmalen, CEO inClusion group)
Bank accounts function as the key to society.Basic bank accounts are fundamental to daily life, providing identification, basic payment transactions, cost savings, access to loans and mortgages, and inclusion in the formal society. An efficient financial system for the masses is reflected in a low proportion of cash in circulation. This requires cashless payment instruments for the majority of the population. In most emerging countries most people are excluded from financial services. The development and implementation of a shared, nationwide financial infrastructure targeting the mass market is a high growth business opportunity. High volumes of low value transactions have a massive impact on annual revenues for financial institutions, postal authorities and other stakeholders. Access to a bank account is clearly a basic human right that should be universal. inClusion group offers the business proposition and the building blocks to turn this vision into reality.
